LNE raises its profile in Asia - March 2008
LNE's sales office in Shanghai (100% owned by LNE France) has been fully operational since March 2008.
It provides a wide range of LNE services for both local and French companies - manufacturers, importers or distributors - who wish to ensure their Chinese products meet all import criteria for the European market. It offers assistance and consulting in legal metrology, quality assurance training, technical information sessions (in French or Mandarin), conformity tests and certification (CE marking, French NF mark, German GS mark) for companies in a wide range of product sectors, including infant care articles, weighing instruments, household and gardening tools, and electromedical devices. All services are provided throughout China.
These new services supplement the testing, auditing and inspection services already provided by LNE Asia for companies manufacturing and/or importing toys, food contact articles, power tools, small electrical household appliances, etc.
Based in Hong Kong and Shanghai, LNE Asia is a joint venture between LNE and Hong Kong testing laboratory CMA.
