Strategy

The Group's strategy is based on 4 priorities around which its research activities and services to industry are organised, in line with its values of competence, rigour and independence:

  • Industrial competitiveness: process control, quantum technologies, digital twins, nanotechnologies, innovative materials...
  • Ecological transition: renewable energies, decarbonation, ocean acidification, recycled plastics, building renovation...
  • Digital economy: Artificial Intelligence performance, cyber security...
  • Public health and safety: biomarkers, citizen risk prevention, road safety, biotechnologies…

To support its ambition to be the leading laboratory for the technologies of tomorrow's world, LNE has launched a strategic exercise : Excellence 2030. The aim of this corporate project is to put people at the heart of our businesses and organization, and to raise the level of customer service even higher. Built in collaboration with employees, it is based on two key pillars:

The official launch of Excellence 2030 took place on March 27, 2025 at the Cité des sciences et de l'industrie in the presence of LNE Group employees. Marc Ferracci, the French Minister for Industry and Energy, spoke at the event.
