I'm looking for in the

Standard mass or weight of either the OIML or non-OIML type, from 100 µg to 5 tons

The calibration of your mass provides you with a certificate demonstrating the traceability of your standards with respect to the international system of units. The LNE National Metrology Laboratory safeguards the preservation, development and improvement of France's mass unit as well as its transfer to industry.

Proposed calibration services

Standard masses and weights, extending from 100 µg to 5 tons.
The calibration uncertainties correspond to one-third of the maximum tolerated error, as defined by the international recommendation OIML R111.
For masses exceeding 100 g, each class is associated with a recommended level of uncertainty, defined as a fraction of the nominal value, i.e.:
Class E0, level A, 1 x 10-7 M
Class E1, level B, 1.5 x 10-7 M
Class E2, level 0, 5 x 10-7 M
Class F1, level 1, 1.5 x 10-6 M
Class F2, level 2, 5 x 10-6 M
Class M1, level 3, 1.5 x 10-5 M
Class M2, level 4, 5 x 10-5 M
Class M3, level 5, 1.5 x 10-4 M
Masses that fail to comply with the OIML R111 recommendation can also be calibrated. Their level of calibration uncertainty will depend on the object characteristics: material, shape, etc.

Additional services

The adjustment of standard weights and masses may be performed upon special request.
When the standard is intended for a regulated use, a COFRAC verification certificate may be issued that indicates the extent to which the standard satisfies current regulations.
A service of technical guidance can also be tailored to meet your specific needs.
