Calibrating your measurement devices enables connecting them to the international system of units, while ensuring the traceability of your measurement output. This approach serves to satisfy the requirements of your quality assurance protocol. At present, we offer a wide range of services dedicated to the calibration of topographical measurement resources.

Proposed calibration services

Services for instruments of the type tachometer, theodolite and laser tracker.
Other types of devices can be calibrated upon special request.

  • Calibration of the distance meter function:

Determination of the indication error by means of interferometric comparison conducted on an extended length test bench.
Determination of the constant error on a three-dimensional measurement machine.
Measurement range: 2-27 m.
Standard uncertainty: 0.35 mm for a resolution of 0.1 mm (k=2).

  • Calibration of angular coders:

Determination of the indication error by means of interferometric comparison with a rotary indexer, an angular plate or a three-dimensional measurement machine.
Measurement range: 0°-360°.
Standard uncertainty: 2.5 to 10" (k=2).

  • Calibration of the volumetric measurement:

Determination of the global accuracy error by means of comparison with a reference length generated on an adjustable rail.
Inspired by the Standard ASME B89.4.19-2006.

  • Calibration of scaled bars / topographical bars:

Determination of the distance between the pairs of targets by means of interferometric comparison.
Standard uncertainty: (7 µm + 3.10-6.L) less than 2 m, (17 µm + 2.10-6.L) greater than 2 m (k=2).
