CPEM 2018 : Conference on Precision Electromagnetic Measurements

CPEM 2018 (Conference on Precision Electromagnetic Measurements), a scientific and technological conference in the field of high-precision electromagnetic measurement will be held from 8 to 13 July 2018 at the Maison de la Chimie in Paris. This conference is organised by the LNE in collaboration with the CNRS and the Observatoire de Paris.

CPEM 2018 (Conference on Precision Electromagnetic Measurements), a scientific and technological conference in the field of high-precision electromagnetic measurement will be held from 8 to 13 July 2018 at the Maison de la Chimie in Paris.
This conference is organised by the LNE in collaboration with the CNRS and the Observatoire de Paris.

The programme is composed of 3 plenary sessions with 7 keynote speakers: Michel Devoret, Anna Funtcuberta I Morral, Serge haroche, Martin Milton, Sheila Rowan, Jean Philippe Uzan and Klaus von Klitzing, in addition to the 33 oral sessions and 3 large poster sessions for which 493 presentations are planned.  Six oral sessions are dedicated to the following special topics:

  • Redefinition of the SI
  • Electrical measurements for small mass and force metrology (2 sessions)
  • Metrology and quantum technology
  • Electrical measurements for micro-nanoelectronic devices
  • Nanomagnetism and Spintronics

500 attendees from more than 40 countries are expected. The conference will benefit from the support of numerous sponsors as well as several institutional “patrons”. Further, 22 companies have decided to support CPEM 2018 by participating to the exhibition programme.
