Agreement signed between LNE-GMED UK and PTB

In February 2023, LNE-GMED-UK and PTB, the German conformity assessment body, signed an agreement. LNE-GMED UK issues UKCA certificates on the basis of test and audit reports from PTB. PTB customers can still use these reports to access the European market (PTB certificate) and the UK market (UKCA certificate).

LNE-GMED UK issues UKCA certificates for non-automatic weighing instruments and measuring instruments.

As a reminder, due to Brexit, quality seals that apply throughout Europe, such as the CE marking, will according to the current status no longer be recognised in Great Britain from January 1st, 2025 and will be replaced by the UKCA mark.
