Climatic tests

Climatic tests make it possible to test the robustness and proper functioning of any product in harsh environments, with variations in temperature and humidity, or pressure. They are part of the range of services for simulating environmental stresses such as mechanical, climatic or electromagnetic compatibility.

Services offered

Among the proposed characterizations:

  • Tests in extreme conditions: cold, hot, humidity, vacuum, overpressure,
  • Rapid temperature variation tests,
  • Thermal shock tests,
  • Altitude tests: vacuum, temperature overpressure and hygrometry,
  • Sunshine tests,
  • Salt spray tests,
  • Ice tests (on drones, aircraft doors, etc.)

Means

To meet these requirements, we have the following equipment:

Instrumentation Specifications  Instrumentation use
Climatic chambers from 0.1 m3 to 95 m3 Temperature: -70 to +200°C
Humidity: 30 to 98% HR
Programmable in cycle
Resistance to temperature and humidity cycles
Salt fog chambers 35°C, 1.2 m3 Study of the corrosion of equipment in a saline environment
Vacuum chambers Pressure from 10 to 1200 hPa
from 0.3 to 1 m3
Robustness study
Sun bench 800 to 1120 W/m²
Illuminated area of 0.8 m²
Temperature from -30°C to +60°C, up to 95% HR
Study of ageing
