Vibrations, shocks and constant acceleration

Vibration, shock and constant acceleration tests are part of environmental testing used to assess the reliability, endurance and accelerated ageing of products from various sectors such as defence, energy, aeronautics, and railways. These tests evaluate the mechanical behaviour of products under normal or intensified usage conditions. They are integrated into comprehensive equipment qualification and characterisation programmes, alongside EMC, climatic and electrical tests.

Proposed services

LNE offers a wide range of mechanical tests to evaluate the resistance of your equipment subjected to demanding vibratory environments.

  • Sinusoidal and random vibration tests (COFRAC*),
  • Shock tests (half-sine, trapezoidal, SRC...) (COFRAC*),
  • Combined climatic vibration tests (heat, cold, humidity, VRT) (COFRAC*),
  • Constant acceleration tests,
  • Consulting, expertise and support.

New latest-generation shaker

To meet your needs, LNE has expanded its capabilities with the acquisition of a new 125 kN latest-generation electrodynamic shaker. Thanks to its unique modularity on the market, it enables testing on all types of products, from the lightest to the most voluminous.

Key technical features of our new shaker:

  • Force: 125 kN in sine/random and up to 375 kN in shock
  • Acceleration up to 200 g (3.5 m/s max)
  • Maximum displacement: 4'' (100 mm)
  • Two table sizes available: 900 x 900 mm and 1,400 x 1,400 mm (with guided head expander)
