To help you ensure the safety, robustness and compliance of your electrical, electronic and industrial products, whilst managing the risks associated with their use and connectivity, LNE supports you throughout their qualification and market launch through a wide range of tests carried out under normal or severe operating conditions, as well as conformity assessments and certifications.
Services tailored to electrical and electronic products
Are you developing electrical, electronic or industrial products whether connected or not and wish to ensure their reliability, safety and compliance before placing them on the market?
LNE supports you at every stage of your project to help you validate your products’ performance, identify any potential weaknesses and demonstrate their compliance with applicable regulatory and standards requirements.
Thanks to a wide range of technical tests, carried out under representative or even severe operating conditions, you will have access to objective data to enhance the reliability of your products, manage risks and facilitate their market access.
Our experts draw on constant monitoring of regulations and standards to define the most suitable test methods for your product, its operating environment and the requirements of your sector, whether it falls under the RED Directive, medical devices, construction or industrial equipment.
Good to know: The test reports issued on completion of our services contribute, among other things, to obtaining CE Marking or any other international regulation.
- Radio frequency testing: these tests demonstrate the compliance of connected equipment (WiFi, Bluetooth, RFID, 2G, 3G, 4G, etc.) in terms of communication, in accordance with the applicable standards. LNE is a notified body under the RED Directive.
- Cybersecurity audits and penetration testing on embedded industrial products to identify vulnerabilities and security flaws, enabling corrective actions and enhanced product protection.
Good to know : For all products incorporating AI, a wide range of services related to AI system evaluation is available through our team of specialised experts.
- Electrical safety tests: these tests guarantee the basic safety of products and users in terms of electrical, mechanical, thermal and fire resistance risks.
- Electromagnetic compatibility tests: these tests ensure that the products function correctly in their electromagnetic environment, and that they do not disturb their environment.
- Climatic tests: climatic tests are used to assess the product’s resistance and proper functioning in harsh environments, involving variations in temperature, humidity, or pressure. Climatic conditioning is also used to carry out accelerated ageing tests, allowing the stability of the product to be evaluated without waiting for its natural shelf ageing.
- Mechanical characterisation: vibrations, shock and constant acceleration: these tests assess the mechanical behaviour of products under normal or severe conditions of use (e.g. DMIA, 500g acceleration tests). These tests include transport simulation.
- RED Directive : your radio equipment falls within the scope of the RED Directive. Compliance with this regulation is mandatory for placing such products on the market within the European Union.
- CE marking: In order to place your product on the market, particularly within the European Union, you must affix the CE mark to your products. LNE carries out all the tests required to meet these regulatory requirements.
- Legal metrology : for all products that have to meet regulatory requir ements linked to commercial transactions, LNE is a notified body under the IPFNA and MID directives and can issue a type-examination certificate or quality management system certification.
- CB scheme or Schéma OC: to facilitate the international marketing of your product beyond the EU, LNE offers CB scheme or Schéma OC certification for electrical and electronic products and equipment.
Recognised by 54 countries, this certification helps reduce both costs and lead times by enabling a single test campaign (safety, EMC, cybersecurity) instead of separate campaigns for each target country.
